Article 15 saw Town Meeting approve an amendment to the personnel administration bylaw alongside an appropriation of $68,165 for department allocations. While the financial aspect passed without opposition, the highlights of the discussion were the formal recognitions of 13 municipal employees who retired over the past year.

The Chair of the Personnel Board led the tributes, acknowledging that the retirees represented centuries of combined service to Milton. Among those honored were R. McGee, who served for 33 years, J. McDonald (31 years), J. Walker (29 years), and M. Brown (20 years). They were all loyal and productive employees and we want to thank them for the service they gave the town, the Chair remarked, noting that while the budget didn't allow for gold watches, the town’s gratitude was immense.
